Description
Atticus is our water dog! He is an active boy that loves to play fetch! He would be an excellent boy for an athletic family for a dog to run on the beach, go hikes, or run track. He is great on leash keeping pace and paying attention. He is social and enjoys meeting people. He can be a little rough playing so any doggie friends would need to be as big and strong. Atticus can give a bad 1st impression it take a moment for him to shine. but some playtime and a few leash walking laps and he is the happy friendly boy we know. Something we should note is he is not a CITY boy better for the typical neighborhood home and the weekend adventures. Atticus has that playful spirit that needs a family looking to have fun! He love the water and has been caught playing in and jumping into the pool! Atticus has been great with the other dogs and tolerant of kids. Atticus can be shy at first or startled by “scary things” but he is a great boy who is already getting comfortable on leash. Atticus not a big fan of being pinched or grabbed so not ideal for toddlers, but he’s good for school age kids. He enjoys carrying his toys and is a playful pup. While Atticus Will follow treats he loses focuses and needs a bit more coaching; he will take time and patience. Needs time to warm up to new people/places but is a happy sweet boy. He can be independent happy to relax and amuse himself with toys and things to chew on. Over all a good pet.
